Nation Media Group Uganda has appointed renowned media personality Flavia Tumusiime as its new Head of Broadcasting. With over 22 years of experience across television, radio, and digital platforms, Flavia brings expertise in content strategy, audience engagement, and digital transformation.

Her extensive media career has seen her work across Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa. She began on WBS TV’s Teen’s Club and later presented K-Files before gaining continental recognition through shows like the Guinness Football Challenge and Big Brother Africa. She has also hosted on HOT100 FM and, most notably, Capital FM, where she became a prominent voice until her departure in August 2022 to pursue new challenges.

Flavia’s versatility goes beyond broadcasting. She is an accomplished voice-over artist and emcee, hosting numerous high-profile events across the continent. Her dynamic skillset and proven track record make her well-suited to lead Nation Media Group Uganda’s broadcasting division into its next phase.

In her new role, she will oversee the development of innovative content strategies and help steer the company’s transition in an increasingly digital media environment. Her experience and vision are expected to play a key role in shaping the future of the organisation’s radio and television output.

Flavia’s appointment marks a significant step forward for her career and the company’s ambitions. As she embarks on this new chapter, the media industry will be watching with interest as she brings her trademark energy, creativity, and professionalism to the forefront of Ugandan broadcasting.
