Sowt Media has proudly announced a new partnership with Yango Play, the all-in-one entertainment super app, to deliver Shamandar’s beloved kids’ podcasts to audiences throughout the MENA region. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in providing high-quality Arabic-language content that caters to young listeners.

Shamandar, Sowt’s dedicated brand for children’s podcasts, features engaging educational and creative audio content tailored to spark curiosity and foster a passion for learning. With topics spanning science, nature, storytelling, and historical adventures, Shamandar curates its material to resonate with children in an entertaining and culturally significant manner.

This partnership highlights Sowt and Yango Play’s mutual commitment to ensuring that culturally rich content is accessible to children across the region. Yango Play users can now enjoy Shamandar’s most popular podcasts, offering families a secure and interactive entertainment option that nurtures young minds while celebrating their cultural heritage.

In addition to listening to Shamandar’s podcasts via the Yango Play app, users can conveniently tune in through Yasmina smart speakers. Yasmina, Yango Group’s innovative AI assistant, enhances the listening experience by enabling simple, interactive engagement.

Ramsey Tesdell, CEO and co-founder of Sowt Media expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We’re excited to introduce Shamandar’s podcasts to Yango Play, expanding our reach to young audiences across the region. This partnership perfectly aligns with our mission to offer fun, educational, and culturally rich content that transforms learning into an exciting adventure for children and families.”

Sally Lewis, Sales & Partnerships Manager at Sowt Media, shared her thoughts on the collaboration: “Collaborating with Yango Play allows us to share Shamandar’s imaginative storytelling with an even wider audience, enabling children to explore new ideas and enhance their creativity through our podcasts. We are proud to contribute to this vibrant platform prioritising family-friendly, top-quality content for MENA audiences.”

Roman Shimanskiy, Chief Executive at Yango Play, commented on the partnership’s significance: “Yango Play is committed to empowering families through engaging entertainment. Our collaboration with Sowt Media is a crucial step toward that goal. By featuring Shamandar’s educational podcasts on our platform, we provide families with a valuable resource that supports children’s learning and development. We look forward to working with Sowt to deliver fun, safe, and culturally relevant content for kids throughout the region.”

Rami Abu Arja, Senior Innovation Marketing Manager at Yasmina with Yango Middle East, remarked: “We are thrilled to introduce Shamandar’s kids’ podcasts to Yasmina users. Now, all it takes is a simple request to Yasmina to play the podcasts, and it will automatically access the episodes in the Yango Play app. This seamless integration of high-quality Arabic-language content is set to foster a more engaging and educational digital environment for our young users.”

The introduction of Shamandar’s podcasts on Yango Play and Yasmina comes at a time when the demand for Arabic-language children’s content is surging. As families increasingly seek safe and captivating audio entertainment options, Shamandar’s offerings serve as a valuable resource that enhances Yango Play’s diverse content library.
