Organisers of the forthcoming 8th Annual Edition of the Africa Broadcast And Digital Media Convention are proud to announce Immedia as a strategic partner and sponsor for the event, which will take place from October 8th – 10th, 2024, at the Swakopmund Legacy Hotel in Swakopmund, Namibia.

The convention, hosted by the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and convened by Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) and the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA), will bring together leading professionals from across the digital media and broadcast industries. It will serve as a pivotal platform for exploring cutting-edge technologies, industry trends, and opportunities shaping the future of broadcasting and digital media across Southern Africa.

As a renowned player in the digital media industry, Immedia’s participation as an industry partner signifies a key collaboration aimed at driving innovation and growth in the region’s broadcast and digital ecosystem. Immedia has long been a leader in delivering bespoke solutions that blend technology, content, and user experience, making its expertise invaluable to discussions on transforming digital terrestrial broadcasting and digital engagement.

Stanley B. Similo, the President of SABA, commented on Immedia’s joining the event. He said, “Having Immedia on board is a good development. Their knowledge and expertise in the digital media space will provide delegates with more insights and innovative solutions as the industry navigates the evolving technological landscape.”

“The Africa Broadcast And Digital Media Convention 2024 will focus on key issues affecting our industry, including optimising digital terrestrial broadcasting, leveraging for audience growth, and the developments around the much-anticipated SADC TV Platform,” Similo concluded.
