Animotion Media Group has partnered with children’s digital brand Teana Tales to distribute its music catalogue across major audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Anghami. The agreement will extend the brand beyond YouTube, making its children’s songs available to families across international markets.
The partnership began with the release of Kids’ Favorite Nursery Rhymes on 25 September. The five-track album launched in key markets including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and India, featuring familiar songs such as 5 Little Ducks and Wheels on the Bus. The collection combines contemporary production with child-friendly arrangements designed to encourage participation and sing-alongs.
The release follows Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, launched in late August as a bedtime lullaby featuring Teana Tales characters Teana, Monkeyto, Zoey and Elphy. With softer instrumentation and a slower tempo, the track is designed to support bedtime routines for toddlers, extending the brand’s role in everyday family activities.
Launched in 2025, Teana Tales has attracted more than 805,000 YouTube subscribers and generated 24 million views, according to the company. The partnership is intended to build on that existing audience by making its music accessible through services families already use for listening, including platforms that support audio consumption beyond video screens.
Oleg Troyanovsky, Animotion Media Group’s head of music, described the deal as the next step in expanding Teana Tales’ digital footprint. Founder Kamil Renno said the wider distribution would allow families to incorporate the brand’s songs into daily routines, from mornings and mealtimes to bedtime.
For children’s content producers, the agreement illustrates the value of developing intellectual property that can move across platforms and formats. Music can provide a complementary revenue and audience channel for characters first established through video, while audio streaming creates additional opportunities for discovery, repeat listening and international reach.
The commercial opportunity will depend on listener uptake, streaming performance and the brand’s ability to maintain engagement across platforms. Nevertheless, the partnership reflects a wider strategy in children’s entertainment: building a recognisable brand and extending its content library beyond a single distribution channel.
