MEDI1TV has secured a partnership with Mali’s High Authority for Communication (HAC), enabling the Moroccan news channel to officially establish, execute, and broadcast its programming within Mali.

In a statement, MEDI1TV characterises this authorisation as a significant achievement in its strategy for continental expansion, underscoring the mutual dedication of both organisations to encourage sovereign and transparent information that resonates with African realities and success stories.

The channel is already available in Mali via Radio Méditerranée Internationale (Medi 1), which has been broadcasting in Bamako on FM for several years. This new agreement strengthens MEDI1TV’s commitment to fostering sustainable media partnerships that advance dialogue, knowledge exchange, and deeper connections among African nations.

MEDI1TV reiterated its commitment to journalistic integrity, fair reporting, and adherence to Mali’s regulatory standards, while also expressing its eagerness to collaborate with Malian media professionals through training, knowledge sharing, and digital innovation.

The agreement symbolises the confidence built between the broadcaster and Mali’s media regulation authority, showcasing the strong cooperative relationship between Morocco and Mali as well as their shared goal of advancing a modern, professional, and globally connected African media landscape.

Founded in 2006 as a bilingual rolling news channel serving the Maghreb region, MEDI1TV has evolved into a multilingual, multi-platform media group with extensive regional and continental reach, dedicated to delivering comprehensive coverage of African and global news while advocating for credible, diverse, and accessible information across the continent.
