Du and Eutelsat have teamed up to enhance signal delivery for broadcasters and media customers by leveraging their respective strengths—Du’s advanced teleport and broadcast infrastructure and Eutelsat’s satellite technology.

Raymond E. Rahme, Regional Vice President for MENA Sales at Eutelsat’s Video Business Unit, stated, “The ongoing partnership with du exemplifies the success of our collaboration and highlights the strategic significance of the 7/8° West position as the leading broadcast hub in MENA. Du’s top-tier teleport and operational capabilities are a perfect match for Eutelsat’s satellite infrastructure, ensuring that audiences across the region have uninterrupted access to premium content.”

The renewal of this multi-year agreement solidifies du’s role as a key partner for Eutelsat in the region, facilitating a diverse range of TV channels that collectively reach millions of viewers through the 7/8° West video neighbourhood, which serves 95% of satellite households in the region.

Karim Benkirane, Chief Commercial Officer at du, emphasised, “Our collaboration with Eutelsat has been vital in providing high-quality broadcast services throughout MENA. By extending this partnership, we confirm our mutual dedication to excellence, innovation, and the delivery of world-class satellite solutions to our customers. The combination of du’s teleport facilities with Eutelsat’s satellite coverage enables us to provide seamless and high-quality broadcasting to millions.”
