The BMA / SABA Broadcast Media Awards – Submission Deadline Extended To 3 October 2025

In partnership with industry stakeholders, Broadcast Media Africa (BMA) is pleased to announce that the submission deadline for the Broadcast Media Awards – Southern Africa 2025 has been extended to Friday, 3 October 2025.

The Awards recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across the broadcast media industry in Southern Africa. From outstanding programming and creative production to technological advancement and audience engagement, the Awards honour organisations and individuals shaping the future of broadcasting in the region.

With this new deadline, broadcasters, content creators, producers, and industry leaders across Southern Africa now have an extended window to submit their entries and ensure their work is considered for recognition on this prestigious platform.

The Broadcast Media Awards – Southern Africa 2025 will offer a unique opportunity to showcase impactful contributions that drive transformation and growth in the broadcasting and media ecosystem.

Key Details:

  • New Submission Deadline: Friday, 3 October 2025
  • Awards Ceremony: 29 October 2025, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
  • Eligibility: Open to broadcasters, production houses, content creators, and industry innovators across Southern Africa

Regarding the Awards, Broadcast Media Africa noted: “The extension allows for broader participation and ensures that every outstanding achievement in the sector gets the chance to be recognised and celebrated.”
