Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), in a strategic partnership with the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA), today officially announced the inaugural Broadcast Media Awards—Southern Africa 2025. This flagship event will recognise and honour outstanding achievements in the region’s dynamic broadcast and media industry. The awards ceremony is scheduled for October 29, 2025, in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

The Broadcast Media Awards 2025 initiative is designed to elevate broadcasting standards across the Southern African region. According to organisers, the awards will serve as a premier platform to celebrate excellence, promote innovation, encourage integrity in journalism, foster collaboration among professionals, and support the next generation of emerging talent. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to recognising the impactful work that informs, entertains, and inspires millions across Southern Africa.

“The Southern African broadcasting landscape is rich with creativity and compelling storytelling,” said Mr Benjamin Pius, CEO & Publisher of BMA. “We are proud to partner with SABA to create a platform that celebrates the best in our industry and sets a benchmark for future achievements. The BMA-SABA Awards will spotlight the dedication and passion that drive our media professionals.”
