Spacetoon has revealed an exciting collaboration with renowned chef and digital content creator Abir El-Saghir to create an original animated series. The project is inspired by El-Saghir’s culinary expertise and storytelling skills, extending her reach beyond her impressive social media following of approximately 60 million across the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye.

Tentatively titled “Abir and the Little Prince” in English, the series introduces viewers to Abir, a vibrant and heroic character who uses her culinary talents and adventurous spirit to embark on a heartfelt mission. Set in a vibrant kingdom, the plot centres around her efforts to support a young prince grappling with depression while navigating the challenges of a disability. According to a report by Deadline, the show is set to debut this quarter on Spacetoon’s television channel and its streaming platforms.

This partnership marks the launch of the animated series and signifies the start of a larger collaboration between Spacetoon and El-Saghir. Plans are underway to expand into merchandising and licensing ventures in 2025, featuring toys, themed products, interactive events, and activity areas designed to enhance engagement with young audiences.

El-Saghir expressed her excitement about the collaboration, calling it a significant milestone in her career. Partnering with Spacetoon is a dream realised. Their legacy of creating captivating and motivating content makes them the ideal partner. This collaboration unveils incredible opportunities to connect with my fans, merging storytelling, culinary arts, and unique interactive experiences,” she stated.

Ahmed Weiss, the General Manager of Spacetoon, expressed his enthusiasm for the project and commended El-Saghir’s ability to inspire and engage children and families. “We are excited to team up with Abir El-Saghir, a cherished figure among kids and families. Her dedication to inspiring young minds resonates perfectly with Spacetoon’s mission to develop impactful, engaging content and experiences for the next generation,” Weiss remarked.

This series enhances Spacetoon’s programming lineup and positions El-Saghir as a creative leader in children’s media, merging her love for food to inspire resilience, imagination, and inclusivity among young audiences.
