The OTT content streaming landscape in Africa is undergoing rapid transformation. Driven by increased internet penetration and the growing appetite for digital content among Africa’s youthful population, the future of OTT content streaming in Africa is poised for significant growth.

With this in mind, the OTT Streaming Platforms and Content Management Summit 2025 (sixth edition), organised and presented by Broadcasting Media Africa (BMA), will be held from Tuesday, 18 to Wednesday, 19 February 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa. It will explore new opportunities, challenges, service innovations, and players in streaming platform provisioning and content management for the diverse African marketplace.  

The OTT Streaming Platforms And Content Management Summit 2025 is not just a gathering but a platform designed to foster collaboration among content publishers, platform owners, content creators, technology providers, regulators, and policymakers.

The summit’s theme is “Reimagining Africa’s OTT Ecosystem: Innovation, Inclusivity, and Impact.” It will provide a critical platform for networking, learning, and sharing insights about the future of content creation, distribution, and monetisation in Africa. This theme underscores the importance of innovation, inclusivity, and impact in shaping the future of the African OTT landscape.
