The 2024 NAB Show schedule is packed with sessions showcasing the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in addressing various challenges faced by today’s media businesses. From operational efficiency to content production, AI is positioned as the key to unlocking new possibilities.

On the business front, the event offers a wide array of sessions dedicated to exploring AI’s impact on business models, sales and marketing strategies, and its role in supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.

For those focused on content creation, sessions will delve into AI’s application in the newsroom, its role in producing reality television and documentaries, and how it can be used to tailor content for specific audiences and streamline storytelling processes.

The exhibit floor will feature numerous AI solutions, with dedicated areas highlighting the latest advancements in this field. Scheduled tours will allow attendees to explore the range of AI offerings that are available.

While AI has already made significant inroads in media businesses through applications such as real-time closed captioning and personalized content recommendations, the emergence of generative AI (gen AI) programs marks a new chapter in AI’s evolution. These programs, including Open AI’s ChatGPT and offerings from major tech companies, have been trained on vast amounts of data to generate text, sound, and visual content that appears entirely new.

The 2024 NAB Show promises to shed light on the transformative potential of AI in the media industry, offering attendees valuable insights into the latest AI developments and their practical applications.
