Du, the UAE-based telecommunications company, has partnered with Arabic streaming platform Shahid by MBC Group to offer its Home and Mobile customers an extensive library of on-demand content and an array of free-to-air and premium channels.

This partnership is set to enhance Du’s services, providing its subscribers with a tailored entertainment journey that caters to their varied tastes and preferences. The content offered on Shahid ranges from Arabic dramas to English series, sports events, and popular Turkish, Korean, and Indian productions.

Under the exclusive Ramadan offer, eligible customers who subscribe to du’s Postpaid Power plan 300 and above with a 12 or 24-month contract will receive Shahid VIP | Sports on du for 12 months. Similarly, customers who opt for du’s Home Wireless Entertainment, du Home Advanced, and du Home Ultimate plans will also enjoy Shahid VIP | Sports on us for 12 months. However, after the completion of the 12-month period, the offer will not be automatically renewed. Users who wish to continue enjoying the benefits of Shahid VIP can opt to renew directly with Shahid for AED 39.99/month or Shahid VIP | Sports for AED 69.99/month.

Mohamed Abdelrahman, Manager of Home Products and Content at du, expressed his excitement about the partnership and the value it brings to their customers. He said, “We are thrilled to unveil our new partnership with Shahid, which will broaden access to diverse content for our Home and Mobile customers. From Arabic and English content to sports, Turkish, Korean, and Indian entertainment, get ready to immerse yourself in a world of unparalleled entertainment!”
