Acast And Next Broadcast Media Form Partnership To Enhance Podcast Monetisation In MENA Regions

A strategic partnership has been forged between Acast, a renowned company that provides hosting, monetisation, and growth support for podcasts, and Next Broadcast Media (NBM), a podcast and digital audio network. The partnership aims to enhance podcast monetisation, streamline advertising efficiency and fortify brand safety measures in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

NBM’s local expertise in the audio advertising landscape and Acast’s extensive podcast inventory will leverage this collaboration. While Acast will spearhead international advertising initiatives internally, it will work with NBM to amplify local advertising procurement programmatically.

Acast is well-known for curating diverse podcasts, including independent content, productions from studios like Sowt and Pineapple Audio Production, and global networks like the BBC and The Guardian. By tapping into NBM’s established presence in the region, Acast is looking to bolster content monetisation.

Megan Davies, Managing Director, International at Acast, highlighted the significance of the partnership, citing NBM’s entrenched presence in the MENA market and their extensive relationships with advertisers as invaluable. As Acast has amassed a rich portfolio of content with a rapidly growing MENA listenership, this partnership becomes essential to ensure the optimal monetisation of its content.

Adel Saadi, Co-Founder of NBM, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Acast to expand ad sales offerings and provide brands with quality audio advertising solutions while emphasising NBM’s commitment to brand safety and audience access. The MENA region’s podcast advertising market is estimated at US$6 billion, and Saadi believes that partnering with Acast will help tap into its untapped potential.

With a shared goal of pushing the boundaries of podcast advertising, fostering industry growth, ensuring brand safety, and delivering value to advertisers and audiences alike, Acast and NBM are poised to reshape the landscape of audio advertising in the region.
