The much-anticipated preschool spin-off, Baby Lemmings, has officially launched on Cartoonito in the Middle East and North Africa.

Produced by Hari Studios, this new series premiered on May 25 and invites young audiences into a whimsical forest world brimming with comedy, adventure, and imaginative problem-solving.

Baby Lemmings taps into the global success of its parent series, Grizzy & the Lemmings, which is broadcast in over 200 territories and enjoys significant popularity on various platforms. This new show reinterprets the original series for preschoolers while preserving its hallmark visual humour and dynamic storytelling.

Set against the backdrop of a Canadian forest, the narrative follows the Baby Lemmings and their young animal companions who perceive their surroundings as an enormous playground. Throughout their escapades, they tackle challenges with curiosity, creativity, and humour, all while learning valuable lessons about friendship, teamwork, patience, and sharing.

Key characters include the exuberant Baby Lemmings, alongside distinctive friends such as Baby Chipmunk, who is passionate about collecting hazelnuts; Baby Moose, who has a fear of nearly everything; Baby Beaver, an ambitious builder with emotional flare-ups; Baby Lynx, a mischievous rival; Baby Raccoon, who has a penchant for tidiness; and Baby Owl, who struggles with daytime noise.

The series is produced by Hari Productions and animated by Hari Studios, with a talented creative team that includes directors Victor Moulin, Cédric Lachenaud, Camille Scarella, Agathe Marmion, and Olivier Brugnoli.

Comprising 78 seven-minute episodes, Baby Lemmings is brought to life with vibrant 3D animation by Antoine Rodelet and Josselin Charier. Character design was crafted by Bertrand Gatignol, with art direction led by Constance David.

Cartoonito has highlighted that the series aims to blend gentle slapstick comedy with heartfelt storytelling, all tailored specifically for preschool viewers, delivering lighthearted adventures that inspire creativity and exploration.
