Disney+ Celebrates A Century Of Storytelling With ‘A Lifetime of Great Stories’ Campaign Across EMEA

Disney has launched its latest festive campaign for Disney+ in the UK and throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, titled “A Lifetime of Great Stories.” This initiative is deeply rooted in Disney’s 100-year legacy of storytelling, while also showcasing its modern, award-winning films, TV shows, and exclusive originals available on the platform. The campaign highlights the emotional journey that significant narratives undertake in our lives, emphasising the lasting bonds we form with the characters and worlds that have shaped our experiences.

At the core of this campaign is a captivating 60-second film directed by Frédéric Planchon, produced by Academy Films and supported by VCCP’s content studio, Girl&Bear. The film follows a young girl as she discovers her love for “Mickey Mouse at Christmas.” As we follow her life through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, key moments unfold, showcasing how Disney+ stories accompany her at every stage. From childhood favourites like “Home Alone” to the comforting experience of “Modern Family” during her university years, and even watching FX’s “The Bear” on her commute to work as an adult, the narrative captures how her tastes and circumstances evolve, yet the magic of Disney remains constant. The journey comes full circle as she becomes a mother, introducing her own daughter to the enchantment of Mickey and friends, illustrating how amazing stories endure across generations.

Emma Quartly, Vice President of Marketing for Disney+ EMEA, commented, “This campaign is a celebration of Disney’s century-long storytelling legacy and how Disney+ is continuing this evolution to inspire audiences of all ages. ‘A Lifetime of Great Stories’ is a heartfelt homage to the narratives that define us and shape our perspectives on the world. We hope it encourages our audience to indulge in the joy of their beloved stories while exploring new ones that will enrich their own life experiences.”

Darren Bailes, Chief Creative Officer at VCCP, remarked: “We all grew up cherishing a particular Disney character—whether it was a t-shirt featuring the Little Mermaid or a Mickey Mouse mug, these tokens remind us that Disney+ offers remarkable storytelling throughout every stage of life, from beloved classics to new favourites like ‘Shōgun.’ Ultimately, it’s truly a lifetime of great stories.”
