Egypt has expressed its intention to enhance collaboration with Zimbabwe, particularly in the areas of public broadcasting development and training, as well as various strategic sectors.
This initiative was communicated by Egypt’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Salwa Mowafi, during a discussion with Jenfan Muswere, the Minister of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, in Harare.
The two parties reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through the exchange of expertise in various fields, including healthcare, childcare, agriculture, water purification, tourism, and housing construction. They also addressed the advancement of the media sector and the potential for technical collaboration.
Muswere highlighted, “These are just a few of the sectors we aim to collaborate on. We also aspire to enhance our political, economic, and technical partnerships in infrastructure, housing, health, agriculture, tourism, and the modernisation of our public broadcasting institutions.”
