Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, And Fox Set To Launch Sports Streaming Platform

Three entertainment giants, Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Fox, have joined forces to launch a groundbreaking sports streaming platform. The platform will combine ESPN, Fox Sports, and TNT’s sports content to create an unparalleled sports streaming experience in the United States.

The platform is set to launch this fall and will be available as a standalone app and an add-on to other streaming services such as Max, Hulu, and Disney+. Subscribers will be able to access a wide range of sports networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNews, ABC, Fox, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, and TBS.

The collaboration secures broadcasting rights for major sports leagues, including NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and more. ESPN and Warner Bros. already have broadcast rights for most NHL and NBA games, and the trio has secured the rights for most MLB games. Integrating premier sports content under one virtual roof is a significant stride in the sports media landscape.

While specific details are yet to be unveiled, the platform comes at a price. However, ESPN+, Hulu, and Max subscribers can use a discounted bundle deal. Avid sports enthusiasts looking to cut ties with traditional cable or satellite services can now experience a game-changing sports streaming service where sports and streaming collide!
