Evision, a popular media and entertainment streaming service in the UAE, has partnered with Disney Star, India’s media and entertainment company, to revolutionize entertainment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This strategic partnership aims to offer a vast content library to viewers in the region, making Envision the ultimate destination for entertainment.

Disney Star’s popular linear channels, including Star Plus HD, Asianet Middle East, Star Gold, and Star Vijay, will now be available to subscribers in the UAE on elife and Switch TV. These channels will also be accessible on Evision’s OTT streaming platform, Starz ON, covering the entire GCC region. Asiana packages will also feature Disney Star’s linear channels, catering to audiences in the UAE and the wider MENA region.

In addition to linear channels, viewers will have access to a treasure trove of on-demand content, including the latest premium originals and a vast library from the Hotstar Specials catalogue, curated specifically for South Asian audiences in the MENA region.

The collaboration between Envision and Disney Star will go beyond conventional content expansion, introducing a revolutionary entertainment destination that promises to captivate audiences across the region. Licensing rights for Advertising-based Video on Demand (AVOD) and Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels will be offered throughout MENA, offering viewers a wide range of options.

This strategic alliance reaffirms Evision’s commitment to delivering the best TV entertainment to audiences across multiple platforms and services. Olivier Bramly, CEO of Evision, said, “Evision enables the audiences across multiple platforms and services to experience the best of South Asian entertainment and sports.”

Gurjeev Singh Kapoor, Head – Distribution & International, India, Disney Star, added, “We are thrilled to further extend the reach of our compelling and multi-lingual content portfolio in the MENA region through enhanced collaboration with Evision. This collaboration with Evision reflects our ongoing commitment to engaging with our audience and represents a significant stride in that direction.”

The Evision and Disney Star collaboration marks a new epoch in MENA’s entertainment landscape, cementing Evision’s status as a trailblazer in delivering world-class entertainment to MENA.
